The placement of the containers is decided by the respective municipal district in cooperation with the Košice City Council.

Oversized waste that needs to be minimized before disposal belongs in a large capacity container. This includes: chairs, armchairs, beds, wardrobes, sofas, carpets, wooden floors, kitchen units, other older furniture, green waste from gardens (leaves, grass, branches)...

Unfortunately such situations do happen as residents accumulate waste outside the cleaning container. After the container is removed, we send a request for a clean-up order to the City of Košice. Only on the basis of the order we can remove the waste from the public area.

It is necessary to contact the relevant municipality (municipal district), as the placement of containers is decided by the local authority of each municipality.
