Collection and disposal of municipal waste is one of KOSIT's core activities

Our company collects and weighs municipal waste from residents 3 times a week in complex residential buildings and 1 time a week in family houses in Košice and its surroundings. We collect waste from 110 and 120 litre kuka bins and 1,100 litre black waste collection bins. The waste collected in this way is taken to the Waste to Energy Facility in Barca Municipality, where it is thermally recovered.

We use modern collection equipment and professional staff to perform the collection and collection of mixed municipal waste. All inhabitants of Košice have the opportunity to use the services of the COLLECTION YARDS, where we collect waste free of charge.

KOSIT collects and weighs municipal waste from the residents of Košice living in complex housing construction 3 times a week and from family houses 1 time a week.

Waste is collected in family houses in 110 and 120 litre coke containers and in apartment buildings in 1,100 litre black containers.

The City of Košice is responsible for determining the number of containers for unsorted household waste as well as their location in cooperation with the relevant municipal district. KOSIT a.s., on the instruction of the City of Košice, places the appropriate number of containers at the locations which are determined in advance.
