Collection trucks empty the contents of the containers

Every day, we ensure cleanliness and order in the contracted towns and villages, while optimising the routes of our vehicles to minimise the impact on the environment.

Waste from Košice and the surrounding area is brought to the KOSIT site, where it will be prepared for further recovery

Vehicles delivering mixed municipal waste are heading towards the waste bunker for the Energy Recovery Facility. Those delivering sorted waste components head for the waste treatment centre - namely the sorting line for plastics, paper or glass.

In the last step, the waste from the black bins is energy recovered and the waste from the coloured bins is prepared for transport to the recyclers

In this way, we ensure that waste is treated in accordance with the waste hierarchy, i.e. as environmentally friendly as possible.
